@WBTV_News y’all really need to look into @DukeEnergy to compare outages and restoration time to other areas. Basic summer storms knocking out power grids every time for 12 hours is ridiculous and everyone here just accepts it as the norm.

I miss the days with @Huntersville_EC would resolve power issues in less than 3 hours. For some reason @DukeEnergy needs the entire night to fix our power issue and it’s a smaller area. Come on! I just brought my husband home from the hospital to this ****… 🤬🤬🤬

@CharlotteDOT @DukeEnergy not sure who's responsibility it is to mow the grass in front of the sub-station at the intersection of Kenilworth & Ordermore in Dilworth, but it's become a traffic hazard. Can't see vehicles traveling down Kenilworth from Ordermore. Please address

@DukeEnergy this is unacceptable. Yet again wind's have caused damage to powerlines and caused power outages. Branches that are clearly entangled in powerlines have been there for months and you have done nothing to clear lines to e sure this doesn't happen. .
