"Bait and switch! Agreed to the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit to see a Physician Certified in Epilepsy-that’s what’s advertised. However, what you get is techs, nurses, and advance practice nurses on this unit. Not Dr. Sadek who is Board Certified iNeurology, Clinical Neurophysiology and Epilepsy (EPILEPTOLOGIST) you believe will be seeing you here at least once during the stay. Not going to happen. I’m told he reviews the case with the NP when you are leaving, (never seeing or speaking to you) and the results are delivered to you at your 2 weeks after-visit, with another provider. No patient involvement, no continuity, lower your standards and accept what you get. Prepare to be disappointed. Better off to see a neurologist that’s not certified in epilepsy. "Below is exactly what I went through May 16th to May 21st, 2024. My mom stayed with me thank heavens. Had 2 grandmal seizures. And my mom had toPush the button and no one came at all.
